As a workspace admin, open Settings → General and scroll to Workspace description and Workspace memory. Workspace description and Workspace memory in General settings, with workspace content and the editor's name hidden

Describe your workspace

Use Workspace description for the background a new teammate would need: what your company does, what your product offers, who uses it, and the questions customers commonly ask. For example: “We build scheduling software for clinics. Receptionists manage appointments, and patients book online. Common questions cover calendar sync, reminders, and rescheduling.”

Keep shared facts in memory

Use Workspace memory for durable facts, terminology, and preferences you want available as context. Keep entries specific and update them when they change. For example: “A location is one clinic, not an individual practitioner. Refer to appointment changes as rescheduling.” For the way an agent’s replies sound, use its Voice settings.

Check that your changes saved

Both fields save automatically after you stop typing. There is no Save or Publish button. Wait for Saving… to change to Last edited before leaving the page. Each field accepts up to 4,000 characters. A description can’t be empty; memory can. Clearing memory saves an empty value. If you see Too long to save or Description can’t be empty, fix the text so it can save. If a save error appears, keep a copy of your edit and check the saved value before leaving.
