# Review Slack and API conversations

> Find Slack conversations and API requests, review replies, and follow existing escalation links.

Open **Conversations** and choose **Slack** or **API**. This page requires a Decimal organization admin. The Slack tab appears when a [Slack workspace](https://docs.decimal.app/integrations/slack.md) is connected. For widget threads, see [Chat widget conversations](https://docs.decimal.app/chat-widgets/conversations.md).

## Find a Slack conversation

Use **Search Slack conversations** to find a thread.

Click **Filter** to narrow the list:

* **Workspace** appears when multiple Slack workspaces are connected.
* **Channel** narrows the list to a channel or direct message.
* **Feedback** selects **Positive**, **Negative**, or **No feedback**.
* **Created** selects a date range. Clear the search first to browse by date.

Choose one value per filter. Use **Clear all** to reset filters and search.

Click a conversation to read the original message, replies, and recorded feedback. The channel link in the header opens the original Slack thread. Open **Conversation details** to check the channel, who started the thread, message count, and creation date.

## Review an API request

Choose **API** and use **Search API calls** to find a request by message text or ID. Click **Filter** and choose **Status**: **Completed**, **Failed**, **Processing**, or **Pending**. **Token** appears when there is more than one API token. Choose one token to narrow the list.

Click a request to read its messages and replies. Open **Conversation details** to check its token, status, endpoint, ID, IP address, and timestamps.

If the request was escalated and has a ticket link, open it from the escalation event or **Conversation details** to continue in the connected support tool. See [API escalation](https://docs.decimal.app/api-reference/escalation/overview.md) for how escalation works.
